Your NETFLIX Account

NETFLIX allows some account portability

If you’re the main account holder, you can:

Watch Netflix on personal devices
Log into a new TV, like at a hotel or holiday rental
Enjoy Netflix anywhere, anytime
Not need to verify your device to watch Netflix

Netflix also offers a temporary code for travel that allows seven consecutive days of account access.

You can set up a Family plan with your Netflix account:

You can create profiles for members in your household, allowing them to have their own personalized Netflix experience. Your account can have up to five individual profiles, and you can set a maturity rating level on each one.

Be aware: Netflix password sharing is gone as of summer 2023.

You can still share a password with someone outside your household, for a price. This will cost the owner of the account $8 per extra person on top of what they would already pay for their Netflix plan. If you’re on the standard Netflix plan you can add one person outside your household, and premium users can add up to two. For those who were borrowing someone else’s login credentials to access Netflix, you can use Netflix’s Transfer Profile feature on your profile, to transfer your existing profile to a different account.
