Monthly general meetings with speakers on general tech topics

Attend a monthly meeting (in-person or via Zoom) with informative guest speakers discussing the latest tech news. Previous speakers introduced us to Maricopa Library digital benefits, members tell us about their favorite apps, safety information as well as tips and tricks we all need.

Informative weekly emails
These emails contains speaker information the latest articles from our website, along with equipment reviews,  We try to provide something for everyone.

Exceptional web site
As you can see, our website contains club information, a monthly calendar with program, class and workshop schedules, helpful links, weekly links to various Internet articles, tech
definitions, suggested downloads and multiple informative resources.

Tech support
In addition to our question and answer session at each general meeting we also hold a monthly Tech Talk and Help Desk.  These are two hour sessions where you can bring your questions to some of our more experienced members. No sense paying for something you receive free with your membership.

FREE Quarterly workshops
Our members love to share! Attend one of our quarterly workshops on: Staying Safe on the Internet, File Management, Cutting the Cord, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Genealogy Zoom and Smartphones. 

 

The Association of Personal Computer User groups (APCUG) Membership www.apcug2.org

APCUG is an International, platform-independent, volunteer-run, nonprofit organization devoted to helping member user groups offer enhanced services to their members.

  • Speakers Bureau
    APCUG maintains a list of vendors and user group officers and members who give
    online presentations to our group on numerous topics. We take advantage of this
    benefit.

  • FREE Virtual Technology Conferences – Online Presentations
    APCUG offers a quarterly Virtual Technology Conference. VTCs give user group
    members the opportunity to ‘attend’ presentations in the comfort of their own
    home. There will be two tracks with three presentations each.

  • Discounts and Special Offers from Vendors
    APCUG member groups periodically receive information regarding vendor discounts and/or special offers that can be passed on to their members.
